HEPMath 1.4: A mathematica package for semi-automatic computations in high energy physics

چکیده

This article introduces the Mathematica package HEPMath which provides a number of utilities and algorithms for High Energy Physics computations in Mathematica. Its functionality is similar to packages like FormCalc or FeynCalc, but it takes a more complete and extensible approach to implementing common High Energy Physics notations in the Mathematica language, in particular those related to tensors and index contractions. It also provides a more flexible method for the generation of numerical code which is based on new features for C code generation in Mathematica. In particular it can automatically generate Python extension modules which make the compiled functions callable from Python, thus eliminating the need to write any code in a low-level language like C or Fortran. It also contains seamless interfaces to LHAPDF, FeynArts, and LoopTools. ∗email: [email protected]

Submitted for the APR10 Meeting of The American Physical Society MathQCDSR: a Mathematica Package for QCD Sum Rules Calculations1 LAI WANG, George Washington University, FRANK X. LEE, George Washington Univerity — We present a software package written in Mathematica for standard QCD sum rules calculations. Two examples are given to demonstrate how to use the package. One is for the mass spectru...

VEST: Abstract vector calculus simplification in Mathematica

We present a new package, VEST (Vector Einstein Summation Tools), that performs abstract vector calculus computations in Mathematica. Through the use of index notation, VEST is able to reduce three-dimensional scalar and vector expressions of a very general type to a well defined standard form. In addition, utilizing properties of the Levi-Civita symbol, the program can derive types of multi-te...

FeynHelpers: Connecting FeynCalc to FIRE and Package-X

We present a new interface called FeynHelpers that connects FeynCalc, a Mathematica package for symbolic semi-automatic evaluation of Feynman diagrams and calculations in quantum field theory (QFT) to PackageX and FIRE. The former provides a library of analytic results for scalar 1-loop integrals with up to 4 legs, while the latter is a general-purpose tool for reduction of multi-loop scalar in...

STRINGVACUA. A Mathematica package for studying vacuum configurations in string phenomenology

We give a simple tutorial introduction to the Mathematica package STRINGVACUA, which is designed to find vacua of string-derived or inspired four-dimensional N = 1 supergravities. The package uses powerful algebro-geometric methods, as implemented in the free computer algebra system Singular, but requires no knowledge of the mathematics upon which it is based. A series of easy-to-use Mathematic...

Affine.m - Mathematica package for computations in representation theory of finite-dimensional and affine Lie algebras

In this paper we present Affine.m — a program for computations in representation theory of finite-dimensional and affine Lie algebras and describe implemented algorithms. The algorithms are based on the properties of weights and Weyl symmetry. Computation of weight multiplicities in irreducible and Verma modules, branching of representations and tensor product decomposition are the most importa...
